Wish I was Stitching
Wish I Were Stitching (tm) is a contemporary needlework specialist supply store and workshop based in Singapore. We stock crochet, knitting and stitching supplies, and conduct lessons for these crafts.
Wish I Were Stitching focuses on modern styles and materials that create practical works and fashion that the hobbyist will be excited to wear, use or display in the twenty first century.
Our store carries products from American, European and Japanese makers like Bucilla, Clover, DMC, Hamanaka, Janlynn, Wool and the Gang, Hand Dyed yarn~Malabrigo etc. We also stock products from independent needlework studios in the US and Scandinavia. Besides materials and tools, you will also find single-project craft kits to make bags, wearables and other usable creations.
We handpick the products in our store, choosing updated and unique textures, colours and quality that needleworkers will not find in regular craft or department stores.
About the founder
Wish I Were Stitching was started in 2012 by Angela Ng, an avid needlework. She left a full time job to pursue her interest in crochet, knitting, stitching, ribbon work and embroidery that reflect present-day tastes.
She has trained in London and Nottingham, and loves to discover ultra-modern needlework products of small, independent workshops worldwide and make them available to hobbyists in Singapore and Asia.
